RAUE LLP advises the renowned architecture firm Hascher Jehle Architektur on the Peace and Security Building project of the African Union in Addis Abeba. Hascher Jehle has been awarded this project after a competition. The building will be constructed next to the new convention centre of the African Union, providing for adequate office space for the African Union commission. The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH has been retained by the German foreign ministry to coordinate the project. The project is an example of a sustainable, climate-friendly, and energy-efficient building and will use renewable energies. It provides space for 370 employees.
