Berlin, 8 November 2010 
RAUE LLP advises the Festspielhaus Afrika project in Burkina Faso which has been initiated by the late artist Christoph Schlingensief. Situated on a property provided by the government of the West African country, the project will comprise an opera house, a school, a teachers’ residence, and a hospital. The Festspielhaus Afrika project is to become a forum of interaction and cooperation between African and European artists. The project is supported by the German foreign ministry, the German Federal Cultural Foundation, and the Goethe Institut. RAUE LLP will support the project by providing pro bono legal advice.
