Telecommunications law is one of Raue LLP’s core areas of competence, and we have long and extensive experience of advising and representing companies from the telecommunications sector. Our particular strength lies in solving problems and handling proceedings in complex cases which involve the Telecommunications Act as well as antitrust and civil law aspects. On behalf of our clients we have won landmark decisions from the competent authorities and courts, and we have monitored and influenced developments in telecommunications law through numerous publications. Our role as policy advisers has also enabled us to make important breakthroughs for our clients, including in the integration of the new European legal framework into the 2004 Telecommunications Act. 

Our areas of focus include:

• Advising telecommunications companies in proceedings before the Federal Network Agency
• Representing telecommunications companies in judicial reviews of regulatory decisions before the Administrative Court of Cologne, the Federal Administrative Court and the European Court of Justice
• Representing telecommunications companies in civil disputes including fee-related cases and follow-up actions after a court or cartel authority has identified a breach of antitrust law   
• Structuring agreements to take regulatory issues into account
