RAUE LLP advises developers, investors and public authorities on all legal issues relating to infrastructure and transportation law. The projects we are involved in include the construction and modernization of federal highways, airports, high voltage electricity lines, buried electricity lines, gaspipelines and public buildings such as schools, town halls and hospitals.

Clients come to us in particular for advice regarding project financing. In this context we also provide information about public private partnerships, a model which is becoming increasingly common in Germany. PPPs allow public authorities to remain responsible for the project, but enable them to draw on the experienceand financing expertise of private partners. RAUE LLP is one of the few law firms in Germany which has the necessary expertise to assist in such transactions. Its attorneys are active members of the Federal Association of Public Private Partnerships e.V. where they participate in working groups to establish standard legal formats for financing structures of this nature. This allows them to stay in close contact with other groups of advisors and remain up-to-date on current trends and reference projects in the field.

A further focus of RAUE LLP’s work is advising national and international carriers, logistics firms and authorities on specific issues of transportation and logistics law and in related areas such as procurement law, EU subsidy law, competition law and general public law.
