RAUE LLP, established in Berlin in 2010, was founded by a group of twenty partners who had previously worked together for many years in a leading international law firm. The decision to set up the new firm resulted from our conviction that the best and most efficient way to serve our clients’ interests would be through a flexible, medium-sized organiziation less prone to conflicts of interest. From our base in Berlin, we advise domestic and international companies and  governments on investment activities, transactions, regulatory issues, and in legal disputes. We also advise select private clients.

Our lawyers are deeply involved in legal innovation. We engage in the development of new legal concepts and structures, and work on the continuous improvement of existing ones. We assume an active role in the process of making and shaping law, representing clients in landmark litigation matters, publishing extensively in legal journals, contributing to commentaries and textbooks, providing expert opinions to legislators and policymakers, and lecturing at leading universities.   
 
Through our Pro Bono program, we also lend our support to important matters of public interest.
